Gaia has been working as project lead at OostPact since May 2025. She has a background in philosophy (Research MA in Political Philosophy) and documentary directing (MA Film Directing, Edinburgh College of Arts). She is interested in how theory and practice inform one another. This interest shapes her focus on filmmaking and film development, as well as on creating programmes that support makers in developing their work.
She has worked at various film festivals in programming, communications, and developing activities for professionals. She lives in Nijmegen.
