Claudio Montesano Casillas is a film producer and founder of the New Producers Academy (NPA). His career spans several continents, with professional roots in Switzerland, Bangladesh, and Cambodia. An alumnus of ACE Producers Trainings Days NL, IFFR Rotterdam Lab and the IDFA Academy, Claudio mentors emerging talent from underrepresented communities. With The Waves, he continues this journey, supporting creators in bringing unique stories to both big and small screens. His latest production 5 Jaar na Black Lives Matter: Echo’s van De Dam is in competition at the upcoming NFF 2025.
