Guilherme Marcondes is a Brazilian filmmaker, currently living in New York City.
For the last 10 years Marcondes has applied his personal blend of animation and live performance to a wide range of projects from experimental films to exhibitions and music videos for live concerts. Guilherme’s films have been screened at countless festivals and the best known of them,’Tyger’, has won over 20 international awards. Marcondes is famous for combining different live action and animation techniques to create immersive worlds with a strong focus on art-direction. This style has been applied by him for different projects: from TV spots to interactive content for clients such as Google, Hyundai, Audi and Pepsi. Guilherme is often invited to lecture at festivals and different schools. At MIT he even leads a week-long workshop and sits in the jury of the MIT Creative Arts competition.
