In this masterclass, Bastien Grivet will talk about the influence of photography on his compositions and storytelling. He’ll specifically dive into the rendering process because he doesn’t think from a canvas but through a lens. What type of lens is suitable for which scene?
ABOUT BASTIEN GRIVET
Bastien Grivet has worked on the visual development for productions such as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Love Death and Robots, Star Trek Prodigy, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Lord of the Rings Shadow of War. He’s currently working for Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. After winning his first Concept Art Award in 2022, this year Bastien had the honor of receiving an Emmy Award for Best Individual Achievement in Animation for his background design work on Star Trek: Prodigy.
