We never underestimate the power of a well energised and engaged audience! They pump up our public with energy, they help settle the nerves of our guest artists (yes, even well established industry professionals are sometimes anxious before taking the stage), they moderate interviews and bring forward some of the dire questions we all want answered!
Meet the wonderful hosts of In Motion London 2025!

HANNAH LAU-WALKER
With over ten years of experience within the commercial animation industry, Hannah Lau-Walker has worked at indie studios based out of peoples living rooms all the way to huge production houses in central Soho. She is the founder of She Drew That – a multi-platform community striving to find new ways to develop women’s skills and talents and help in combating the gender inequality found within the animation industry.
No matter how big the room, we can always count on Hannah to keep us energised until the last act of the day, having enjoyed her hosting skills at several Playgrounds events including In Motion London and The Art Department Eindhoven.
TANYA J SCOTT
Tanya is an award-winning director and creator based in London who loves bread, cats, medieval manuscripts and a fair amount of weirdness and whimsy!
After 14 years of working in television series for some of the largest UK studios, Tanya decided to study for her MA at the National Film and Television School, graduating in 2023. Her film The Wolf of Custer has gone on to screen at Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals worldwide and won a British Animation Award in 2024. She now works in directing and development for animation but she also writers and illustrates. Along with writer Sam Morrison, Tanya is co-creator of The Underglow, a preschool series commissioned by the BBC via the inaugural ignite scheme.
We’ll have her for the first time on our In Motion London stage but given her vivacity and energy, we have no doubt she’ll have the entire audience eating out of her hand!
