โ๏ธ Workshops with Wobby Club
On 6 and 7 September, Wobby Club is hosting a free workshop program where illustration is used as a tool for dialogue and expression. Under the guidance of Dolle Minaโs Tilburg, Keanu Schipper, and Qult, youโll actively take part and see your results printed on the spot using a risoprinter โ a fast, colorful, and experimental printing technique. At the same time, a special exhibition will be on view in the pop-up shop to celebrate 10 years of Wobby. Check out more info!

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the world of Loulou & Tummie? Come admire their works in the Illustration Pavilion – located in the Spoorpark and is open to the public from 6-14 September.

We are joining forces with The Big Draw to create a window route mapped out through the city centre of Tilburg. Various illustrators will decorate buildings in the city centre with their works.

Admire the work of animator, illustrator and motion designer Floor van der Doelen. She is always looking for stories that touch people and make them smile, inspired by everyday moments and personal observations. Experience it for yourself and watch Floorโs animations on the big screen at the Emmapassage (Tilburg)!

Eddy Wu is a Taiwanese 3D artist and filmmaker. The core of his work is formed by profound memories, identity, vulnerability and emotional connections. With his work, he invites others to share emotions and experiences with each other, creating a shared understanding. Experience it for yourself on the screens of The Arcade in Frederikstraat.

โ๏ธย Flooral by Vera Savelkouls
During Illustrada, you can see illustrator Vera Savelkouls at work at various times on Burgemeester Stekelenburgplein. Here she is working on a life-size floor painting (flooral) that covers the entire square.
The idea behind the design of this flooral is to celebrate the fact that Tilburg is actively working to make the city greener in order to improve the quality of life for its citizens.

VPRO โEen Uur Cultuurโ presenter Teddy Tops welcomes Tilburg-based illustrator Jeroen de Leijer to discuss the changes in the field of illustration. At the LocHal , he will share his experiences from the early years of his career to the present day and talk about the changes the industry has undergone, from TV production to collaborations with publishers and the current influence of AI on creativity.
