Atelier Next: Workshop storytelling in creature design by Eva Toorenent

In our Atelier Next we want to get hands dirty and just create! Pop surrealist gallery artist and illustrator Eva Toorenent will show you how storytelling can improve your work.

Eva will share her thought process and the backstory behind her gallery paintings, commercial projects, and creature designs. By adding your own story to your art, you can create a stronger connection with your audience and deepen your relationship with your own work.

During this hands-on workshop, you will create your own creature inspired by personal storytelling. Eva will also provide a step-by-step demonstration of her watercolor painting process, allowing you to create your own painting using the skills you acquire throughout the class.
