OPEN CALL: STUDENT FILM COMPETITION

PLAYGROUNDS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026

Are you the next Victoria Warmerdam, Nina Gantz, Marleen Gorris, Paul Driessen, Martin Koolhoven or Paul Verhoeven? We’d like to make sure we are not missing your epic start. Submit your graduation film to our Student Film Competition and get the chance to win the Best Student Film Award of € 1000,-

Join us for the second edition of PIFF and celebrate the most beautifully crafted films, while also focussing on the art behind the scenes. We’ll put the spotlight on films that are audio-visually innovative, eye-candy for the eye, trailblazing new techniques or showcasing incredible craftsmanship for the story.

If you feel like your work fits the bill, send it our way!
