FILMHELPDESK #17: Ema Cvrkota

Are you seeking guidance on film production, international collaborations, or navigating the film industry? The Filmhelpdesk is here to support your filmmaking journey, and for this edition, we’re excited to welcome Ema Cvrkota as our special guest.

Ema Cvrkota works as a freelancer in the Dutch film sector. She is involved in a variety of organisations and projects in the field of talent development, production and sector strengthening.

She is currently project manager at Screen Talent NL, the national network of regional talent and production hubs, and business manager at Stichting De Ontmoeting, which supports new filmmakers in realising short films and expanding their network within the industry. In these roles, she develops and coordinates programmes for emerging talent, maintains contact with makers and partners in the field, and regularly thinks with budding filmmakers about content, business and production issues. Previously, she worked for the Dutch Audiovisual Producers Alliance (NAPA) and production house Submarine, among others.
