The way in which our Next Talent Program helps filmmakers to develop caught the attention of Netflix a while back. Netflix decided to support Next which resulted into the idea of a training for writers. We developed a 6-month pilot Writers Room for writing in groups for series. A working method that is still in its first stages in the Netherlands. Screenwriters and coaches Saar Ponsioen and Matthijs Bockting guided 7 writers for 6 months in which they developed a series bible.
Last Friday our participating writers Jan van Gorkum, Justus den Elsen, Catherina Iosifidis, Jochem de Vet, Aswin Baaijens, Pim Vogels and Beau Meevis proudly presented their series in a pitch to Netflix, Disney+, Pupkin, New Way Films, NewBe and writer Tijs van Marle. Onto the next one
