5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT IN-DEPTH DAY

are you joining our extra festival day?

The In-Depth Day is an extra festival day, in addition to our regular Art Department program. This day is filled with extensive talks, masterclasses and screenings of Playgrounds International Film Festival for the true in-depth experience of our festival. But with every new adventure, there are many questions to be answered. Here is a compilation of the 5 most important things you need to be aware of!

Attending the masterclasses
Your In-Depth Day ticket gives access to all the masterclasses part of 15 April . You don’t have to pay extra per masterclass. However, each masterclass has limited places. Upon entry you will be asked to select the parts of the program you are interested in.
If no selection is made, you can still attend the talks that are left with available places.

What makes this day special
During this day, talks and masterclass will go beyond the basics and dive deeper into familiar subjects, focussing on specific topics within the Art Department disciplines (film, animation, games). The exact topics discussed will depend on the artist present but most of the talks will focus on a specific theme. You can have here a look at the timetable.

Connecting with the industry
The In-Depth Day is the place where professionals can gather, network and take a deep-dive in the process of their peers. While students are also most welcomed to join, this day is specifically aimed at creators that already possess a solid foundation of knowledge within their fields.

You can join us just for this one day!
Although, of course, we’d love to have you along for all the days, you can experience the In-Depth Day even if you will not manage to visit TAD on 16 and/or 17 April.

Additional program
Your In-Depth Day ticket does not give you access to the separate workshops scheduled on 14 and 15 April.
However, your ticket does give you free access to the Playgrounds International Film Festival (PIFF 2026). Keep in mind regular PIFF ticket buyers do have priority, but as long as the screenings are not filled, you can join!
