What kind of person gets a call from Walt Disney Studios, with the question: “Would you like to work for us?” This is only one of the huge things that happened to Ralph Palmer. Ralph shares his life story on animation through the decades. He started as a traditional animator, working at Nelvana Studios, and became a character supervisor at Electronic Arts Studios, working at the biggest video games. He thinks one of the keys for his success is his curiosity for ‘the next big thing’. With his love for research and ‘the sheer will to do great stuff’, he managed to have a wonderful career and an amazing portfolio.

At Disney he was especially loved for the facial animation and the emotional performance of his characters. He worked on Milo Thatch (Atlantis), Pocahontas, Quasimodo (Hunchback of the Notre Dame) and Tarzan.
