Rogier van der Zwaag’s work can probably be best described as an endless stream of experiments. ‘I consider process to be more important than an idea. My ideas are pretty small but my processes are quite extensive.’ In this talk Rogier takes us along on his journey through countless experiments and shows how by trial and error and with sometimes unusual materials, he is able to create his own magical universes.

Rogier studied at HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht and currently lives and works in Amsterdam. From his studio he has created work for clients like IDFA, Into The Great Wide Open, DGTL Festival and many more.
